Product Overview

The Alcatel-Lucent OmniVista® 2500 Network Management System (NMS) provides cohesive management and network-wide visibility, increasing IT efficiency and business agility. It provides a full set of management tools for converged mobile campus. This single platform enables operators to easily provision, manage and maintain a unified Campus Mobile infrastructure with its network elements, alarms, unified access security policies, and virtualization. It also provides advanced network analytics for a full visibility into wiredwireless devices, IoT endpoints and applications, as well as predictive analysis for forward planning.

Integrated Network Management Platform : OmniVista 2500 features comprehensive network management capabilities, including all necessary components and tools. It provides a complete network management system for Alcatel-Lucent's entire range of network products, enabling network configuration, device monitoring, sflow traffic sampling and analysis, DPI (Deep Suite Inspection) application analysis, application signature library upgrade/distribution, security, device configuration, warning management, acceleration, downtime handling, and comprehensive management. It also supports HA (High Availability) deployment.

Wireless Network Management Platform: OmniVista 2500 can be used as a unified management and configuration platform for distributed wireless networks. It features wireless network analysis, wireless intrusion detection, wireless heatmaps, wireless DPI (Deep Suite Detection) application analysis, application signature library upgrades/distribution, and supports HA (High Availability) deployment.

Unified Policy Authentication Platform: OmniVista 2500 can be configured as a unified policy authentication management system for wired and wireless networks, supporting a variety of flexible authentication methods (such as MAC 802.1X, Radius, LDAP, AD, web authentication portals, etc.) to meet the network's security authentication access requirements and support HA high availability mode deployment.
