Product Overview
The OmniSwitch 6465T industrial security Ethernet switch is a series of compact Gigabit Ethernet switches with a wider temperature range, ideal for campus/metropolitan area Ethernet triple-play applications. PoE switches provide a valuable, energy-efficient access method for powering intelligent building subsystems such as lighting, CCTV, and HVAC. These switches run on the widely deployed and field-proven Alcatel-Lucent Operating System (AOS), offering high security, reliability, high performance, and ease of management. These switches operate reliably over a wider temperature range from -10°C to 60°C.
The OmniSwitch 6465T 12-port model features optimized size, low power consumption, and rich software functionality. This wide-temperature PoE model can power a range of new-era devices, from IP cameras at toll booths to LED lights and building management gateways in intelligent buildings.
These switches are easy to deploy, offering out-of-the-box, plug-and-play "zero-configuration" options, automated network deployment, and fault recovery.
They support the high-precision clock protocol IEEE 1588v2 PTP, meeting the nanosecond-level time accuracy requirements of devices and applications.
All ports of the OmniSwitch 6465T support MACsec, enabling end-to-end encrypted networks. The OmniSwitch 6465T series provides advanced system and network-level fault recovery capabilities, which can be integrated in a streamlined form through standardized protocols. This model can continue to operate normally in ambient temperatures up to 45°C.
